Okay, while I like this whole staffmember idea, I think we have enough admin-type people, and we don't want anyone... well, someone might come, make an alpha or beta. We might unknowingly accept someone with bad intentions, and destroy the site. All we need right now are two alpha positions(I will let all current alphas keep their positions, however) and one or two betas. When we get more members, we'll get more positions, but for now that sounds good to me. How about you guys? Post here, pleasies?!

Good idea I think. Just one thing: BMP has 2 alphas, CMP has 1 alpha. How can we make that even? We could ask people we really trust to join and give them the positions. I know that BMP is supossed to be stronger, but I think that both groups should haver 2 leaders.

well, I was thinking... we are the co-admins so we dpon't really count as alphas... we are admins, but since that positions odesn't work we are called alphas... one more alpha sounds good to me though. neiother of us can update positions, thats the problem..

What do you mean update positions? And I've been looking at it as alpha= admin. Then beta= moderator.

we are supposed to be admins, but since the admin thing doesn't work, we have to be alphas. Alphas are global moderators. betas are moderators. If we click admin, we can't update each positions pwers, only Rakyyr can do that. I hope that kinda explains everything...

Ya, I see what you mean. We'll just have to do the best we can though.

Yeah. But then again, I don't think we should have too many staff memebers right at the beginning, just incase new members feel kind of overwhelmed by all the staff, y'know?
Hmm, when I asked Chaos to join I was pretty sure she was going to try for the CMP Alpha Male, I'll talk to her about that.

Yeah, that's kionda what I was thinking.. 4 admins is kinda a lot, even wcv4 doesn't have 4 admins and that site has what, 300 members? I can l,ive with being an alpha, not an admin, but that kinda makes the alpha position higher than g-mod. I think that for now, we only need one or two staffies, if any. Besides, we don't want WAY to many and then Silvermoon and I, the admins, can't keep up with what they're doing... ya know? So yeah.. And another point: say... one of our friends joins late and all high positions are taken. what do we do then? We can't make them alpha or beta or anything because they don't have one of those charries... So lets have a vote: Should people who have accepted alphas and betas have staff positions?
My vote is no, they shouldn't. We should pick staff some other way. But everyone who has a high position should be able to keep it

I second that vote. Just because someone can make a good bio and be accepted as an Alpha or Beta, dosn't mean their trustworthy to have as a staff memeber.

No for me too. There are four of us at the moment... me, russen, sakura, and kaze. I think that's fine. The next alpha won't be a staff member, if the vote is no.

yup so everyone but Katze (who hasn't voted yet) said no. No matter what Katze votes, the majority says no. Isn't Katze a beta? that means she's a moderator.... correct?

Yep, she's crow moon beta. So, it's decided. For now, we don't need more staff. When we do, we can decide a method to pick the new staffie.

Problem: If all Alphas and Betas become staff membners, there will be an overload of staff members.
Solution: Delete rule, stay with current staff members. If we need more staff members, choose them.
